The extent of God's love for us overcomes all borders, limitations, language barriers, and doubt. It was such a blessing to get a glimpse of the work He's doing through the lives of His people in Brazil. The work He did through us and in us in the past seven days was more than I ever expected. The inexplicable Jesus joy present in the lives of those on the boat left me in awe of how truly great our God is. The beauty of unity and longing to share God's love, the beauty of the Amazon, and the beauty of His children were all a blessing to witness. Seeing the medical team, our translators, my team, and every other person on the boat love God + love people consistently and constantly throughout the week exemplified the way Jesus told us to love. The fullness of life that comes from loving God was shown each and every day as the exhausted still served each other with a smile on their face and joy in their heart. God is awesome, and He's doing great things all over the world.

Going on a medical trip as a non-medical student gives you the opportunity to play other roles in your team's time abroad. Getting to connect and see the hearts of people who are so welcoming and joyful was truly an experience that will stay with me.

Ashlie M Jobst, Spring Break 2015 Participant
This trip is just an amazing experience. You go expecting to get one thing out of it, but instead you will get something else even better out of it. The people are wonderful, the work is so rewarding, the Amazon is beautiful and you definitely will not come back the same person as when you left.

Testimonial:
On this trip we saw God's hand move as we flowed down the Amazon. In the faces of the children, worshipping on top of the boat beneath the stars, and watching local Brazilians surrender thier lives to Jesus were just a few ways that God showed Himself on the trip. God truly changed lives during this trip. It was an experience I will never forget and always hold near to my heart.
Future trip goers can expect way more than they could ever expect! God can do so much in a week.
