Work alongside Potter's Field Ministries in their children's after school programs in beautiful Antigua, Guatemala. This trip is 7 days (2 travel days and 5 days at the PFM center) with one day designated to explore Antigua. With a team of approximately 24, there will be a variety of ministry opportunities ranging from children's ministry, work projects, and visiting hospitals and public schools. This trip is perfect for those who may be leaving the country for the first time or are experiencing the foreign mission field with little experience.
Potter’s Field Ministries works with local churches and pastors on the ground in Antigua Guatemala in their Potter’s Field Kid’s Club after school program, aimed at providing physical and spiritual nourishment for the children. In Guatemala, they currently have 3 locations for their after school program: Antigua, Parramos, and Ciudad Vieja, reaching over 250 kids each week. In addition to this ministry, PFM serves in local schools teaching English to 1,900 kids every day. PFM also has Kid’s Club programs in Costa Rica, Uganda, Kenya, Cambodia, The Democratic Republic of Congo, and Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Montana. Besides these programs, PFM also provides a gap year missions training program for young adults based out of their center in Antigua, as well as horse camps and a church fellowship in Montana, a pottery tour explaining the gospel to thousands of people every year, and a world-wide child sponsorship program through their Kid’s Club.
